DWG RG-948Specification
Terms of use
These terms state what Rust Graphs does with data and what you may expect from the site.
The site is offered as it is. Rust Graphs reads server data from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers directly, and refreshes it every five minutes. The data is what the server reports. A wipe can be recorded late, a server name can be false, and a player count can lag. Treat each graph as a snapshot of the last refresh, not as a guarantee.
Using the site. You may browse and compare servers without an account and without payment. Do not send rapid repeated requests to a page; that slows the site for other players. For a full dataset, email hello@rustgraphs.space.
Crawlers and AI tools. Bots, search engines and AI crawlers are welcome. Read robots.txt and llms.txt first; they list what lives where. Keep your fetch rate low enough that human visitors still get fast pages.
Server owners. A server appears because it is on the public list. Everything on its page, including name, tags, wipe times and player slots, comes from what the server publishes. To change what is plotted, change it on the server. Most edits are picked up within five minutes of the next refresh.
Not affiliated. Rust Graphs is independent and has no connection with Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
Changes. These terms can change without notice. The date below records when they last did. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions
3 notes01Can I use Rust Graphs data in my own project?
You can read the site and cite it. For a full dataset, email hello@rustgraphs.space and describe what you need. Automated tools should read robots.txt and llms.txt first and keep their fetch rate low.
02Why does a server's graph not match what I see in game?
Graphs are refreshed every five minutes from what the server reports to the public list. Between refreshes, and when a server reports late, the plot trails the live state. The recorded time on the x-axis shows when each point was measured.
03How does a server get listed on Rust Graphs?
Every public Rust server on Steam's server list is plotted. Nothing is submitted and nothing is paid for. If a server is not on the public list, it does not appear.
