Every server here has its own page with live player counts and population history, refreshed every five minutes. Plot two figures before you join. First, how many players are on now against the 24-hour peak: a server near its peak at your usual play time will be busy when you are. Second, when the last wipe fell. A server that wiped within the past day is unbuilt and loud; one due an update soon will not keep your base. The next wipe time is listed in UTC. Group limits and region appear in the table; use the name and tag filters to narrow to a play style, then open a server to read its numbers directly.

01How does a server get onto this beginner list?

By its name. The filter matches noob, beginner, newbie, new player, newcomer, learning and starter in the server name, with no human review. Rust Graphs does not test whether the server is kind to new players. Check the server's own rules and its population graph before joining.

02What should a new player check on a beginner server's graph?

The population line over 48 hours, read with your play times in mind. A server that sits flat through your evening has room; one that spikes at wipe and falls to zero within two days is an event, not a home. The last-wipe marker shows how old the current map is.

03Does a beginner server wipe on a schedule?

Many do, but the cycle is set by the owner and can be weekly, biweekly or monthly. The wipe schedule is plotted for each server, and the next wipe is stated in UTC. A wipe day resets the map, so a quiet graph on a wiped server usually means it has been open for a while.

04Is a beginner server always vanilla?

No. Some are vanilla and some are modded with raised gather rates or kits, and the table records which. A 2x rate shortens the early farm without changing much else; higher rates bring different fights. Check the modded flag and the gather rate in the server name before you choose.

Narrow the list with the name search, a tag, or the play-style filter. Nothing on this page ranks these servers; the order is by recorded player count at the last refresh. Beginner servers differ in the things that matter: whether they are vanilla or modded, the group cap, the wipe cycle and the region. Filter to your region first, because ping beats every friendlier setting.
